The ROUTE CHEAT SHEET REPORT is available to INTL TIER and above.

2) HOW IS THE DATA CALCULATED?

When new schedule data is obtained (approximately weekly) this report is updated. Data shown is for flights TO the airport shown. THis is because we only track international flights outbound from the United States. So in order to include international flights we show the destination airport.

On the schedule summary above, airlines must operate at least 2 roundtrips in the month. Departures for the month are divided over days for the month showing one-way flights (inbound to the airport). Flights that round to less than 2 roundtrips are shown as fractions.

The capacity graph at the bottom contains the prior 24 months plus several future months of estimated departing seats. The red line shows the most up to date date. The gray line shows where future capacity was published a month earlier so you can see if it is trending up or down.

3) HOW DO I READ THE REPORT?

First read the section above about how the data is calculated HERE.

SCHEDULE SUMMARY
The AS OF data at the top shows when the data was last updated. If it is more than 10 days earlier read HERE.
ROUTE column is the non-stop route to the airport featured on the page. If the row says ACY and the CHEAT SHEET is for MCO then the route is ACY to MCO. AL is the marketing airline's 2 letter IATA identifier.

If the airport has few routes, the EQP CAT column will be shown which is Equipment Category. This shows aircraft type groupings where P (PROP, although may be a small jet) means aircraft with 0 to 35 seats. S (SMALL Jet or Prop) means an aircraft with 36 to 59 seats. R (REGIONAL Jet or Prop) means an aircraft with 60 to 100 seats. M (MAINLINE) means 101 to 249 seats. W (WIDEBODY or very large narrowbody) means more than 250 seats.

DATES: The next columns are current roundtrips averaged over the month with the prior year shown next in brackets. Several months are shown. The logo stylistically covers the years on the far right, but they continue in the same pattern. GREEN indicates the route showed an increase of at least 0.3 flights per day, while RED highlights a decrease of at least 0.3 flights per day versus a year earlier.

CAPACITY GRAPH
The AS OF data at the top shows when the data was last updated. If it is more than 10 days earlier read HERE. The graph shows the trend in departing seats for 2 years into the past plus a few months in the future. RED shows current data and GRAY shows the future seats for sale as of a month ago to judge changes in trend.

4) THE DATA I SEE IS MORE THAN 10 DAYS OLD?

The AS OF date shows when the image was last updated. Because we can't repost this data weekly as separate posts due to the sheer volume of new posts it would mean, we instead chose to update the existing posts when new schedules are available. The images in the posts will change with the updates. If you don't check the page often it will probably update automatically, but if you do browsers often cache images which may mean you still see the older image. Hitting refresh a few times or waiting a few minutes to try again may force an update. On a PC the solution is often to hold the shift key and hit refresh. Deleting cached images in the browser settings may also force an image update. WE apologize that this is a little clunky, but it was the only option within the confines of the Patreon echosystem.

5) WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF THIS DATA?

DOT data from T100 and Ontime data as well as scraping from schedule sites.

RETURN TO FAQ LIST

6) ARE ALL AIRLINES INCLUDED?

The intent is YES. There may be cases where that is not the case such as very small carriers.

RETURN TO FAQ LIST

7) ARE INTERNATIONAL ROUTES INCLUDED?

YES, international routes that fly from the United States are included. In cases where reports are for foreign airports, only routes from a United States airport are included.

8) THE DATA DIFFERS FROM WHAT I SEE SOMEWHERE ELSE?

It's going to happen. If the difference is minor then it is probably just a function of different sources. If the change is large it may be that one source updated before the other. If it remains off for several weeks send me a private message on Patreon and we will take a look.

9) HOW CAN I FIND THE REPORT?

There are three options since this report will not reappear in your feed when it updates. 1) Search for it on enilria.com like this with Allentown here as an example IATA airport code ABE CHEAT SHEET, 2) on the enilria.com site click AIRPORTS, and then the airport, and then CHEAT SHEET should appear as an option under that airport, or 3) bookmark the page of your favorite airport.

10) CAN YOU ADD AN AIRPORT?

Probably yes if we have data for it. We also do require an airport diagram for its AIRPORTS page, so please make sure there is one befre asking via a private message. If there is not one see if you can find one to provide as we need to have all the components to create an AIRPORTS page and then a CHEET SHEET page.
