2) HOW DO I READ IT?

Report shows block hours for the next five months compared to 2019 for the 10 big airlines. For example, AUGUST 2021 vs AUGUST 2019, SEPTEMBER 2021 vs SEPTEMBER 2019, and OCTOBER 2021 vs OCTOBER 2019.

Airlines don't file the correct equipment types in future schedules which makes for crazy ASM results, plus keeping track of seating configuration changes is too hard. Block hours is more accurate in most ways for this purpose anyway.
